During the course, participants will learn about the main strategies which can be adopted to bring about circularity and the major policy instruments which can be adopted to support the transition towards a more sustainable industrial development and greater circularity. They will be invited to apply the lessons they learn to develop a circular economy strategy or transition plan for their country, with respect to a specific product or family or products of relevance to that country. At the end of the course, the participants will present their circular economy strategy or transition plan in plenary, where they will be discussed by the group as a whole. In this way, participants’ skills and effectiveness in designing and implementing policies, strategies and projects related to sustainable industrial development and circular economy will be enhanced.
