Most high level policy makers involved in industrial policy formulation and implementation have to face complex challenges with limited resources. In order to succeed they need to have an enhanced understanding of the challenges of sustainable industrial development, a deep knowledge of relevant technical issues, and high management capabilities. The Executive Training Programme is intended to help high level policy makers, from around the world, prepare for new levels of leadership in their careers and within their organizations.
The overall goal of the Executive Training Programme is to update and improve the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze, formulate and implement industrial policy reforms. Executive Trainings provide high level government officials with the unique opportunity to learn from UNIDO practitioners and world-class faculty in convenient short courses. It allows for small circle discussions among top executives, high level UNIDO staff, senior faculty from leading business schools, and eminent researchers on industrial development, business and management. UNIDOCapacity Development works closely together with experts from leading business schools for the design and delivery of its Executive Trainings.
